Pumpkin crouton soup served before the meal
This is the pumpkin crouton soup served before the meal! Warm pumpkin soup topped with crispy croutons, pepper, and herbs. Wow... is this what Busan pumpkin tastes like??? They said the pumpkin quality was excellent, and it really was! The soup was smooth with the pumpkin's natural sweetness coming through, and the crispy croutons scattered throughout gave it a nice texture too. Croutons go soft fast if left in the soup too long, so I'd recommend eating them together as soon as they arrive.

Stone octopus steak, 29,800 won, dipped in carrot purée
The stone octopus steak comes with a wide bed of orange carrot and pumpkin mashed potato sauce, topped generously with nicely charred octopus legs, zucchini, mushrooms, cherry tomatoes, and a lemon wedge. Paprika seasoning is sprinkled around the edge of the plate, making it look appetizing before you even take a bite.

Dipping the octopus generously into the sweet, smooth carrot purée underneath was the best!
Oh, do you see that mini cabbage?? So cute I could cry ㅜㅠㅠㅠㅠ

Pairing it with the grilled shiitake mushrooms and zucchini served alongside cuts right through the richness.

The octopus itself is so delicious too!

A great salad to eat alongside. The vegetables had good crunch, and the parmesan cheese and crumble added a nutty flavor and crispy texture.

On the way out, we got an apple-flavored Tinyping drink and a carrot pen. Wait, the staff are sooooo kind!
Verdict: a different kind of Western food in Haeundae
If you're looking for a different kind of Western food in Haeundae, Smith's Farm was a solid choice. Starting the meal with warm pumpkin soup and then trying the signature stone octopus steak was memorable — the octopus was chewy yet tender. Pairing it with vegetables and carrot purée worked really well, and having the salad in between made the meal feel light and easy to get through. There were also plenty of cute farm-themed props around the restaurant that were fun to look at, and it's close enough to Dongbaek Station to visit by public transit without any hassle. If you want to try something a bit different from the usual pasta or pizza in Haeundae, like the stone octopus steak, this place is worth a visit.
