Where is Beer Room near Gangnam Station, and when is it open?

Beer Room is at 22 Gangnam-daero 98-gil, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, about a 5-minute walk from either Gangnam Station or Sinnonhyeon Station. It is open Wednesday to Sunday, 11:30–23:30, and closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.

I was looking for a place with good draft beer near Gangnam Station and ended up at Beer Room. It's easy to get to and the space is big, so it looked like a good spot for get-togethers.

Can you book Beer Room for group gatherings or company dinners?

Beer Room has group seating, and private rental is reportedly possible too. When I visited, there were plenty of groups there.

Beer Room is a Gangnam Station bar that's just right for draft beer. The mood suits chatting over a beer with friends, and I think it would work for company dinners and all kinds of gatherings too.

What we ordered at Beer Room

This time we ordered the Diavola Pizza, Crispy Squid Bites, Breaded Onion Rings and 2 draft Budweisers. As the name suggests, Beer Room proudly shows off a variety of draft beers, and the food lineup pairs so well with beer that anything you pick works as a snack.

Diavola pizza: spicy wood-fired pizza served on fire

Beer Room's diavola pizza is a wood-fired pizza with a thin, chewy crust, a salty savory flavor and plenty of rich cheese. The quality easily holds up as a pizza spot in the Gangnam Station area.

The crust isn't heavy, so it goes well with other snacks too. The pizza sauce is fairly spicy, so it never feels greasy and has a taste that works as hangover food.

The diavola pizza is set on fire as it's served, and you enjoy it after the flames die down. It was a treat for both the eyes and the mouth.

Crispy squid bites: fried squid with herb salt

Beer Room's crispy squid bites had a crunchy coating with the chewy bite of squid still intact inside. The savory flavor builds the more you chew, so "a snack that calls for draft beer" fits perfectly.

I especially liked the herb salt sprinkled over the squid, which brings out the flavor. So good. Dipped in mayo and cheese, it's savory and salty and a perfect match for beer.

Breaded onion rings: crunchy outside, sweet inside

The breaded onion rings we ordered alongside were satisfying too. Crispy outside and full of sweet onion inside, they're a dish anyone can enjoy without any fuss.

The coating stays crisp and the onion is cooked just right.

Draft Budweiser

We ordered Budweiser on draft. It was kept nicely cold and went well with the food at Beer Room. Alternating between pizza and fried snacks with a drink, the mood naturally warmed up.

Is Beer Room a good place to sit and talk?

The atmosphere was Beer Room's biggest strength. It's lively without being too loud, so it was good for talking with friends, and with its roomy seating I think a larger group could use it comfortably.

If you're looking for a gathering spot in Gangnam, Beer Room seems like a pretty good option. Both Sinnonhyeon Station and Gangnam Station are easy to reach, so it's convenient as a meeting point, and with group seating and private rental available, I'd recommend it for birthday parties or company dinners.
