Dunsan-dong hotpot for four with Galleria-view seats: Bantiannyao
Bantiannyao Kaoyu Daejeon Branch is a mala kaoyu (Chinese spicy grilled fish hotpot) restaurant on the second floor across from Galleria Timeworld in Dunsan-dong, Seo-gu, Daejeon. A family of four took a window seat with a Galleria view and ordered mala kaoyu at the basic spice level with ningbo fish, adding extra noodle sides and sauces from the self bar; the fish was tender with no fishy taste, and the fried tofu and tofu skin soaked in the broth were the best part. Bantiannyao is worth the challenge in Dunsan-dong on a day when you want deep, tingling mala.
