I received this product and tried it with my child. The Day Tunteun Kids Cal-Mag Plus K2 is a strawberry-flavored powder that melts in the mouth. My child liked the flavor, so it was easy to give every day.

Why did I choose a calcium-magnesium supplement for children?
At first, I thought a separate supplement was unnecessary as long as my child ate well. But my child kept reaching for cookies and sweet snacks and did not eat dinner well, so I began to worry about whether they were getting enough nutrition from meals.

Outdoor activity had also decreased because of fine dust and our busy schedule. I was concerned about vitamin D intake as well, so this time I looked at the ingredients first.

Which ingredients did I check?
First, I checked that it contained calcium and magnesium, along with vitamin D3 and vitamin K2.

The product description stated that calcium and magnesium were blended at a 2:1 ratio.

I also considered that it contained vitamin D3 and vitamin K2 together.

Previously, I had not paid much attention to my child’s nutrient intake because they were growing taller. This time, rather than judging by height alone, I found myself looking back at what and how much they usually ate.

My child barely ate breakfast, and I worried whether meals at daycare and a small dinner would be enough.

Because these eating habits concerned me, I chose Tunteun Kids Cal-Mag Plus K2, which contains all four ingredients.

What did I check about the ingredients and additive-free guidance?
In the product description, I saw that it uses microencapsulation technology to make calcium into fine particles and encapsulate them. This was something I considered alongside the ingredient combination.

The guidance that it does not use ingredients originating in China or Japan also influenced my choice.

The five ingredients listed as excluded were magnesium stearate, calcium carboxymethyl cellulose, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, casein, and sodium caseinate.

Did my child eat the strawberry-flavored powder well?
When I tried it myself, the powder melted in my mouth and had a pleasant strawberry flavor. I felt it was a flavor children would like.

The product introduction mentioned children who are picky eaters or lack outdoor activity, and that stood out because it overlapped with my child’s routine.

How did I give it each day?
I gave one pouch each day.

The recommended serving is one pouch once a day. It can be taken directly or with water. My child liked it so much that they said it was tasty and asked for another pouch.

To make sure I did not forget, I kept it in a visible spot where I usually put supplements. What I noticed while giving it was that the daily routine was easy because my child liked the flavor.
