Kale powder for easy morning drinks: Bvillage Organic Curly Kale Flo
In short
Bvillage Organic Curly Kale Flo is a kale powder I chose to make up for not eating enough vegetables and to avoid preparing fresh kale. I mixed about a spoonful into water or soy milk in the morning, and also tried it in yogurt, banana smoothies, and cooking. It was easier to drink with soy milk or yogurt, though its mildly bitter vegetable flavor remained and it needed protection from moisture.

Why did I choose powder instead of fresh kale?
I tend not to eat enough vegetables, so while looking for something easy to add to my routine, I chose Bvillage Organic Curly Kale Flo. Buying and preparing fresh kale every time felt inconvenient, and I thought a powder would be easy to have even in the morning.

At first, I liked that it uses organically certified ingredients. The packaging had a simple design, and the powder was a deep green with fine particles. It also seemed to mix into drinks well without clumping.

How does it taste in water and soy milk?
When I opened the product, it had the fresh, green vegetable aroma typical of raw kale. I first mixed it with water, and it was not as chalky as I expected. Rather than a sweet drink, it tasted closer to green juice.
It went down much more smoothly when mixed with soy milk, yogurt, or a banana smoothie than with water. The mild bitterness of kale remains, so anyone who dislikes vegetable flavors may need time to get used to it. It did not taste overly fishy or unpleasant to me, and blending it into smoothies or yogurt made the bitterness less noticeable.
How did I have it in the morning?
I usually drank about one spoonful mixed with water or soy milk on an empty stomach in the morning. I could simply shake it up while getting ready for work, and not having to prepare vegetables separately was the most convenient part.
After having it for several days, I felt that my stomach was a little more comfortable and my gut felt lighter. That was a personal impression, though, and it is difficult to say this product alone caused any major change.

Did I add it to food as well as drinks?
Sometimes I mixed a little into salad dressing or rolled-egg batter. The fine particles made it easy to combine, and they added a vivid green color to the food. I liked being able to add it to foods I already ate without the burden of chewing vegetables separately.

What were the storage drawbacks and reasons to have it again?
Because it is a powder, it seemed vulnerable to moisture, so I had to take care with storage. I did like that it did not take up much space and was easy to carry.
The bitter flavor takes some getting used to, but for me, the ease of having it even on busy mornings was a major advantage. It was useful because I could add small amounts not only to drinks but also to cooking, and I would consider buying it again.
