Eel pot rice with ochazuke and hire katsu at Gome Mui, Songpa
Gome Mui Songpa Munjeong is a Japanese-style pot rice and tonkatsu restaurant in the basement of Terra Tower near Munjeong Station in Songpa, Seoul. Visiting on a weekend at noon, the writer ordered eel pot rice as a main with hire katsu (fried pork fillet) and mini rosu katsu (fried pork loin) as side dishes, finishing the leftover rice as ochazuke (tea-poured rice) with eel broth. With small side-dish portions of tonkatsu available, it's a good spot to try pot rice and tonkatsu together in one sitting.
