Yeonhui-dong dog-friendly pasta restaurant: abalone pasta at Winerhyul
In short
Winerhyul Yeonhui Yeonhui-dong Main Branch is a pasta and wine restaurant on a residential side street in Yeonhui-dong, Seodaemun, Seoul, where dogs are welcome on the outdoor terrace. Around early evening, the writer sat on the Winerhyul terrace with their dog Baekgu and ordered abalone innards pasta (20,000 won), shrimp oil pasta (16,000 won) and a wheat beer, praising the rich, non-fishy abalone flavor and clean spiciness. With free parking and no break time, Winerhyul is an easy place to enjoy pasta with your dog.

What kind of dog-friendly restaurant is Winerhyul in Yeonhui-dong?

Winerhyul Yeonhui Yeonhui-dong Main Branch (와인률연희 연희동본점) is a go-to pasta spot in Yeonhui-dong where you can have pasta, risotto, steak and more with no break time. Dogs are allowed on the outdoor terrace, so in this cool weather it's a comfortable dog-friendly place to eat with your pup :)

Winerhyul sits on a quiet residential side street in Yeonhui-dong. It's open from morning until 11 p.m. with no break time, so it works for a light brunch or a hearty dinner with wine :)

They call Yeonhui-dong "little Europe," and true to that, the exterior felt like a home-style restaurant in a European country village, so charming from the outside haha
Is there parking at Winerhyul?
Yes, there's free parking for up to 5 cars. Parking is hard to find in much of Yeonhui-dong, so I liked that you can come by car comfortably. It's easier still if you ask the restaurant about parking before you visit.

Where can you sit with your dog? The outdoor terrace

At Winerhyul, dogs are only allowed on the outdoor terrace at the entrance. I visited in the afternoon going into dinner, and with the cool breeze and quiet residential street it was a relaxing meal haha
Winerhyul's interior and the Kim Dong-ryul story
The interior is done in wood tones and feels warm and cozy. One special thing: there are photos of the singer Kim Dong-ryul here and there, and his songs played the whole time I was there. It turns out the owner is a longtime fan! The "ryul" (률) in the name Winerhyul comes from his name, so you can really feel the owner's devotion haha

With the soft lighting and classic mood, it looked great for a date or an anniversary dinner too, and there's a bar table as well :)
Winerhyul menu and lunch set price

Besides pasta, risotto and steak, the drinks list is huge too, with wine, cocktails and beer. If you come at lunchtime you can get a pasta and wine set for ₩15,000, so I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a brunch-style lunch in Yeonhui-dong.

What we ordered
- Abalone innards pasta ₩20,000
- Shrimp oil pasta ₩16,000
- Primator Weizen ₩8,000
- Coke Zero
And of course we took our photo with Baekgu! The terrace vibe and the cool breeze were lovely, but it was a cloudy evening and the photo colors were a bit disappointing, so I'd love to come back on a sunny day 🥹

How was the shrimp oil pasta?
The shrimp oil pasta (₩16,000) keeps the signature flavor of an oil pasta, and the peperoncino adds a clean spiciness without any greasiness. It's packed with plump shrimp too, so it passed on looks and taste alike!

Is the abalone innards pasta fishy?
The abalone innards pasta (₩20,000) gave a strong scent of the sea from the very first bite. Abalone innards dishes can easily turn fishy, but I loved the nutty, rich flavor of the innards here.

The generous pieces of abalone were chewy yet tender, which I loved. That's Winerhyul, a Yeonhui-dong pasta favorite haha

Primator Weizen wheat beer with the pasta
The Primator Weizen wheat beer (₩8,000) we had with the pasta was smooth and light to drink. It went well with the pasta, so beer lovers might enjoy pasta with beer :)
Verdict: a Yeonhui-dong pasta favorite for going with your dog
Winerhyul is a European-feeling, dog-friendly pasta restaurant in a quiet residential area of Yeonhui-dong. I liked the cute, warm interior, and with an outdoor terrace that allows dogs, I'd recommend it to anyone looking for brunch or pasta in Yeonhui-dong :)
