Songpa gopchang restaurant, 1-hour wait for a 220g portion: Jinseong
Jinseong Hanwoo Gopchang Bangi Direct Branch is a Korean BBQ restaurant in the Bangi-dong food alley in Songpa, Seoul, serving hanwoo beef gopchang, daechang and makchang. Remembering the Garak Market original, the writer waited an hour for a walk-in table and ordered one portion of gopchang and one of daechang separately, since Jinseong sells no combo platter — but the 220g gopchang came out as a single row, and the soy-marinated garlic from the original branch was gone. The taste held up, yet the wait and the portion made this visit a letdown.
