Accidentally spicy solo gukbap in Gangdong, Seoul: Boseung Hoegwan

Boseung Hoegwan Cheonho Station Branch is a 24-hour sundae (Korean blood sausage) and suyuk (boiled pork) gukbap restaurant in Gangdong, Seoul, a five-minute walk from Cheonho Station Exit 3. Eating only two meals a day, the writer made the solo special pork-jowl gukbap the first meal of the day and forgot to ask for it without the chili paste, so the bowl arrived red, with the sundae kept aside to stay chewy. Between the solo seats, the one-person menu and staff who offered an apron first, Boseung Hoegwan is an easy gukbap restaurant to eat at alone.
