Yongsan tteokbokki combo packed to go after Haebangchon: Hyeonseonine
Hyeonseonine Yongsan Main Branch is a bunsik (Korean snack food) restaurant in a Yongridan-gil alley, an 8-minute walk from Sinyongsan Station Exit 6. After a walk around Haebangchon, we ordered the Hyeonseon Combo Set — tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes), mini gimbap, sundae (blood sausage), fish cake skewers and assorted fritters — and it was far too much for two, so the rest went home in takeout boxes. The tteokbokki at Hyeonseonine is classic tent-stall style, mild rather than fiery, and we kept reaching for one more piece.
