Mapo roastery café with nutty brew coffee and tiramisu: Central Site

Central Site Hapjeong is a roastery café in an alley off Yanghwa-ro 7-gil near Hapjeong Station in Mapo, Seoul. The brew coffee, made with nutty beans chosen for having no sharp acidity, went down smooth with a clean finish, while the classic tiramisu paired lightly melting mascarpone cream with chewy ladyfingers. Central Site Hapjeong is a solid pick when you want coffee and dessert done properly in one sitting.

Seoul coffee shop for decaf americano and fruit soufflé: Petrico

Petrico is a soufflé cake café on Jandari-ro in Mapo, Seoul, within a 10-minute walk of Hapjeong Station. On an afternoon visit the iced decaf americano and the signature fruit soufflé cake were the order, and because the meringue is whipped and baked to order the cake took about 15 minutes. Two fluffy soufflé pancakes with whipped cream, caramelized banana and fresh fruit alongside a full-bodied decaf made Petrico a perfect afternoon dessert stop.
