Cheongju bulgogi restaurant for fall dates by Daecheong Dam: Ojangdong
Ojangdong Heungnamjip Cheongju Branch is a hanwoo raw beef bulgogi and Hamhung-style cold noodle restaurant in Namil-myeon, Sangdang-gu, Cheongju, on the drive route linking Cheongnamdae and Daecheong Dam. On a fall drive date here, two servings of raw hanwoo bulgogi made with a special soy sauce aged 240 hours and a skate bibim naengmyeon (spicy mixed cold noodles) were mildly sweet rather than salty, so the seasoning never grew tiresome. For a filling Korean meal after a Cheongnamdae outing, Ojangdong Heungnamjip Cheongju Branch is a solid choice.
