Cheongju Korean restaurant worth bringing parents to: Jeju Badang

Jeju Badang is a Korean restaurant serving Jeju-sourced braised and grilled fish on the 2nd floor of the JB Building in Gagyeong-dong, Cheongju, opposite the Gagyeong Xi apartments. On a weekend lunch visit with a child, Jeju Badang was full to the point of a wait, and the boneless braised hairtail and grilled atka mackerel arrived with stone pot rice plus rounds of the self-serve side bar. The hairtail is trimmed bone-free and the atka mackerel stays moist, making Jeju Badang a place to come back to with parents.
