Daejeon Korean restaurant open from 9am for Sunday lunch: Jeonju House
Jeonju House is a Korean restaurant on Oncheon-ro 101beon-gil in Yuseong-gu, Daejeon, serving galbi kimchi stew (pork rib and kimchi stew) and fresh pork belly grilled on a cast-iron pot lid. A family of three stopped in at 11:30 on a Sunday morning, heading back to Sejong after the Daejeon Museum of Art, and ordered two servings of the cauldron galbi kimchi stew (15,000 won) with a jumbo egg roll (10,000 won), rounded out with stone pot rice and tofu from the self-serve bar. With food served from 9am and its own parking lot, Jeonju House works well as the last stop of a family day out.
