Today I'm introducing a great spot for a group gathering in Haeundae.

It's Smith's Farm. I revisited this time — I remembered the atmosphere being great, the staff being friendly, and the food being delicious from my last visit, so I decided to go back.

Smith's Farm interior: carrot accents and photo zones
The moment you walk into Smith's Farm, the interior feels pretty stylish, and if you look closely there are cute little details hidden everywhere.

True to the farm name, there are carrot-themed props and decorations scattered around, which made it fun to look at. 🥕

There were also some prettily decorated photo zones here and there, great for taking pictures before or after the meal.

How is it as a group meeting spot in Haeundae? Seating layout
The space itself suits dates well, but the layout also worked nicely as a group meeting spot.

There were seats not arranged facing each other, and overall the seat count was generous, so it looked comfortable for visiting with several people.

So this place seems well suited not only for people looking for a date spot in Haeundae, but also for anyone looking for a place to eat with friends or family in a larger group.

What we ordered, plus complimentary pumpkin soup
This time we ordered Smith's Farm's signature dishes: stone octopus steak and grilled romaine.

While we were waiting for the food, a staff member brought out sweet pumpkin soup as a complimentary starter. Last visit I really enjoyed the sweet pumpkin gnocchi, so this time I got to try the pumpkin soup too. 😆
It was a soup with the sweetness and nutty flavor characteristic of sweet pumpkin. Eating it warm made for a light way to start before the meal. If you like pumpkin dishes, I highly recommend trying the pumpkin gnocchi I had before too — personally, I found it really delicious. 👍🏻

Grilled romaine: how is it different from a regular salad?
Then the grilled romaine we ordered arrived. I'd had this dish on my previous visit too, and I think it's worth trying even for people who don't usually like vegetables.

It's definitely a different style from a regular salad. It's made with chili oil, bacon chips, a special mayo sauce, and a green sauce, so the romaine, topped with various sauces and toppings, tastes quite different from your usual salad.

I had it last time too, and this time I enjoyed it so much I took another photo of the menu haha. If you're not a salad person or you're tired of the usual salad options, I think this could feel like a fresh change.

Stone octopus steak and three sauces
Next came the stone octopus steak. It's plated with stone octopus, various garnishes, and carrot puree. 🥕

Everything was cut into bite-sized pieces, making it easy to eat. The octopus had a chewy texture, and you could enjoy slightly different flavors depending on which sauce you dipped it in.

Wasabi mayo, wasabi, and a spicy chipotle sauce were provided, so you can dip according to your taste. Even with the same octopus, the flavor changed depending on the sauce paired with it, which made it fun to try different combinations.

The grilled vegetables served alongside were also great to pair with, and overall being able to eat vegetables and seafood together left me feeling refreshingly clean after the meal. Being able to enjoy chewy octopus together with various garnishes made it a great choice for a main dish.

The closing treat: ice cream with a carrot-shaped spoon
And when we were wrapping up the meal, another complimentary treat arrived. This time it was ice cream. 🍨 The staff member showed us the carrot-shaped spoon and carrot accents and asked if they weren't cute. These small details really matched Smith's Farm's own cute atmosphere haha.
If you visit with kids, I think they'd find these touches fun. The ice cream had a bit more depth of flavor than a regular vanilla ice cream, and it came topped with crumble. Pairing the sweet ice cream with crunchy crumble made for a light, satisfying dessert to end the meal.

Overall thoughts on the return visit
Once again, I had a comfortable meal overall, from the food to the space. Above all, the staff were friendly and attentive, which made the whole meal pleasant. 😊
If you're looking for a nice-atmosphere restaurant in Haeundae, I recommend Smith's Farm. It works well for dates, and with its varied and generous seating, it also suits group gatherings with several people.
I'd especially recommend it to anyone wanting to try something a bit different, like the grilled romaine that's unlike a regular salad, or the chewy stone octopus steak. If you're looking for a place you'll want to return to after just one visit, like me, come find the delicious food and cute carrot accents at Smith's Farm. 🥕
