Dongtan hair salon layered C-curl perm with no S-curl: Juno Hair

Juno Hair Dongtan Solbitnaru Branch (준오헤어 동탄솔빛나루점) is a hair salon in Dongtan open every day from 10:00 to 21:00. Pets are welcome and there is parking.

I was sick of looking at the same hair every day, so I went to Juno Hair for a cut and a perm! There are lots of Juno Hair branches in Dongtan, and this time I tried the Solbitnaru branch 〰️

Where is Juno Hair Dongtan Solbitnaru Branch, and where do you park?

The salon is in Jeongrim Plaza in Solbit Village, Dongtan, and the building has an underground parking lot. I drove, parked easily downstairs and went straight up.

You pick up a parking ticket at the salon and put it in the parking box. There is also a bus stop nearby, so I hear it is easy to get to by public transport too. Good to know!

Inside the salon: atmosphere and space

The salon uses the entire 2nd floor of Jeongrim Plaza, so it is really big! I thought I'd have to walk a while after getting out of the elevator, but the entrance is right there the second the doors open, which threw me a little.. haha

The salon has a modern, clean feel. Juno Hair splits its spaces by concept, and there are private rooms for 1, 2 and 3 people, so it is a nice place to get your hair done in a quiet, relaxed mood!

Perms and dye take forever, right? This branch also has a clean kids room, so I think it would be easy for both moms and dads to get their hair done.

Before the treatment: damaged long hair

My request was to keep the length, cut off as much of the damage as possible, and get a layered perm. Even though I'd been taking care of it beforehand.. my hair was hopeless. It was badly damaged, I'd just let it grow, and no matter how I styled it with my Airwrap it never looked good..

So it was the layered perm again, like always.. haha It feels a bit boring, but it is easy to style and easy to maintain, so it is still my favorite.

How the layered C-curl perm went

The layered C-curl perm started with a consultation, then a layered cut, then the emulsifying step. Before cutting, the designer asked carefully about my usual style and what I wanted, gave me a clean layered cut, and then started emulsifying my hair first!

I munched on coffee and cookies while my hair was being done. Every time I go I wonder, why are Juno Hair cookies so good? They taste really high-end haha..

Rods on the ends, flat iron on top

They wound the ends of my hair around rods, applied warm heat and we waited. This is the most boring part~.. Still, I could rest and scroll my phone, so it was kind of comfortable (?)

The top section was straightened neatly with a flat iron! It wasn't hot and didn't feel like my hair was being tugged, because the designer was so careful. The last step is neutralizing, and that's it.

C-curl, not S-curl? The result

I was most worried about whether the curl would turn out well, but the moment I washed my hair and looked in the mirror, I was so happy! Designer Bom even explained carefully how to style it easily and prettily! 🍀

I wanted a calm, natural curl, and it was exactly what I asked for. The careful consultation and attention to detail impressed me. I think I've finally found the hair I really wanted 🥺

Every time I got a layered perm it came out as an S-curl, which I hate, so I always asked for a clean C-curl, but honestly no place had satisfied me 100%. At Juno Hair Dongtan Solbitnaru Branch the perm came out exactly how I wanted, and I'm so happy.. 🫧🫧

A layered C-curl that styles with just a blow-dry: would I go back?

After the layered C-curl perm, a blow-dry alone finishes it neatly, no fuss! It kept the volume in my bangs too, so it was perfect.
