Newly opened Korean restaurant at Keimyung main gate, Daegu: Hyangtaek
Hyangtaek Seongseo Keimyung University Branch is a Korean rice-meal restaurant that opened on September 1 in an alley across from the main gate of Keimyung University in Dalseo, Daegu. On an evening visit, the grilled mackerel served with the samchi gondre bap (grilled mackerel with gondre herb rice) had almost no fishy smell and few bothersome bones, and mixing the gondre rice with the house sauce and wrapping it in gopchang dolgim (crinkled roasted laver) was the best part of the meal. Hyangtaek is a clean, easy spot for a proper Korean meal near Seongseo Keimyung University and Dongsan Hospital.
