Pocheon Italian restaurant for wedding invite meetups: Eoneu Dal

If you're looking for a restaurant with a great atmosphere in Pocheon, I seriously have to recommend Eoneu Dal (어느달)! I've already been three times, it's a total "I'd go back again" place. From my very first visit the atmosphere was so pretty that I wondered whether this was really Pocheon!!!

The food is delicious and the portions are generous, so I've come here for dates and even for a friend's wedding invitation meetup, and this time I came back for a Pocheon date with my partner! Every time I wonder why it's so good, and the shrimp rosé pasta I had this time was so delicious that I fell for it all over again! So here's my honest review after three visits, along with my menu recommendations :)

Where is Eoneu Dal in Pocheon, and what about parking?

Eoneu Dal is an Italian restaurant with a lovely atmosphere on Jeongmundong-gil in Pocheon. I was able to park in the lot in front of the restaurant!

It's a great stop on a Pocheon drive or date, and whenever we go to Pocheon and start craving Western food, Eoneu Dal is the first place that comes to mind.

Waiting and reservations at Eoneu Dal

Eoneu Dal is so popular that weekend lunch has a huge wait. You can reserve through Catch Table (a Korean restaurant reservation app), and I'd recommend reserving before you go whenever possible!

(I failed twice at first, and ever since I always reserve before visiting.)

What's the interior of Eoneu Dal like?

One of the reasons I love Eoneu Dal is the incredibly pretty interior!

I honestly felt the atmosphere was much better than most restaurants in Cheongdam or Garosu-gil. It's bright and elegant overall, and the space is so nicely decorated that on my first visit it almost felt like I'd walked into a wedding shop!

It's great for dates, but I'd also recommend it as a place for gatherings on special days. I actually held my friend's wedding invitation meetup at Eoneu Dal too! If you reserve a group table in advance, you're guided to a separate space, which was great for meeting up with friends.

When a group eats together, a separated space makes it a bit easier to chat comfortably! So Eoneu Dal's group seating seemed fine for family gatherings, wedding invitation meetups and anniversary meals too.

The menu at Eoneu Dal is varied, so it's also good for visiting with several people and ordering a bit of everything. The portions are much more generous than you'd expect, and the prices are really reasonable for the quality, so I'm satisfied every time!

Most pastas are in the low ₩20,000 range, and just so you know, the portions at Eoneu Dal are really generous.

Three visits in: which dishes do I recommend?

The dishes I'd recommend at Eoneu Dal are the chicken risotto, the striploin steak and the shrimp rosé pasta. I've been three times already, right? Between the friend's wedding invitation meetup and dates with my partner, I've tried quite a few dishes.

And two dishes that pleasantly surprised me were the salmon salad and the striploin steak! The steak has good meat quality and portion for the price, so I was happy with it.

But my undisputed number one is still the chicken risotto!!! I order it every single time I come to Eoneu Dal, and it tastes amazing every time. It's topped with a really generous amount of chicken thigh, and the creamy risotto itself is so good that anyone who likes thick, rich cream dishes will find it totally their taste!

Shrimp rosé pasta, the best discovery of this visit

The most memorable dish this time was the ₩20,000 shrimp rosé pasta!!! Seriously, why is this so good? (sobbing)

I already like rosé pasta, but the shrimp rosé pasta this time tasted especially good.

I loved the rich, savory flavor typical of rosé sauce, and eating it with the shrimp made me keep reaching for more.

Chicken risotto, the dish I order every visit

The chicken risotto is what I order every time I come to Eoneu Dal! If you visit, I really hope you'll try it at least once. The chicken thigh is piled on so generously that it looks delicious from the first glance.

The chicken is good on its own, but eating it together with the creamy risotto underneath is a really great combination. With the rich, savory cream and the soft risotto, I thought "yep, this is the taste" the moment I took a bite. There's a reason I keep ordering it even after three visits, haha.

White ragu gnocchi, with the texture of real potato

The ₩21,000 white ragu gnocchi (potato dumplings) I had this time was also very satisfying. I really love gnocchi, especially potato gnocchi where you can taste and feel the potato itself.

And Eoneu Dal's gnocchi was exactly my style! You can really feel that distinctive texture of potato gnocchi, which I loved. It pairs well with the white ragu sauce too, and I enjoyed every bite. Pasta and risotto are great, but if you want to add something different, I recommend the white ragu gnocchi!

My partner was also surprised by the portions and the taste, and said they could see why Eoneu Dal has such long waits, haha. I totally agree.

Eoneu Dal in Pocheon: worth going back even after three visits

Whether I came for a wedding invitation meetup or a date with my partner, I've been satisfied with my meal every time at Eoneu Dal, a place I truly keep going back to. The atmosphere is really pretty and elegant, and the food quality and portions are good too, which is why I keep returning.

If I'm recommending dishes at Eoneu Dal, the chicken risotto and shrimp rosé pasta come first! If you're looking for a pasta restaurant or any good restaurant in Pocheon, I recommend Eoneu Dal. There can be a wait on weekends, so don't forget to reserve through Catch Table before you visit.
