Dog-friendly Pocheon café revisit, anbutter salt bread: Geurine Oasis

This is Geurine Oasis, a dog-friendly café in Pocheon that I visited on a gorgeous day! Out of all the big cafés in Pocheon, this one lets dogs in, has tasty bakery items and a perfect lake view, so I've already been twice! The weather has been so nice lately, and it's the perfect time to go: there's a dog run, pretty indoor and outdoor seating, a Gomori Reservoir view and great music, plus lots of different spaces to enjoy with your pup. I fully recommend it to anyone looking for a big café in Pocheon!!! So here's my Geurine Oasis dog-friendly review :)

Where is Geurine Oasis, and is weekend parking easy?

Geurine Oasis is a lake-view café right in front of Gomori Reservoir in Pocheon! It's fairly close to the Korea National Arboretum in Gwangneung too, so it also works as a stop on a Pocheon drive.

Why weekend parking was stress-free

Geurine Oasis has its own parking lot, and on weekends there's someone guiding the parking. It's such a popular big café in Pocheon that weekends bring lots of people and cars, but the parking attendant was seriously good at the job and managed everything really well. Even when a car had to be moved, they helped directly, so even though I went on a weekend, parking didn't stress me out at all.

There are parking spaces in front of and beside the café, and when it's full, I hear you can use a nearby public parking lot. It's a popular café, and easy parking was another thing I was really happy about.

What are the main building and annex like inside?

Geurine Oasis has two buildings, a main building and an annex! Both are really spacious, and the interior is so pretty and moody. Sunlight pours in through big windows, and the warm atmosphere with the music was just lovely.

The main building is where you order bakery items and drinks, and the annex has indoor seating where dogs are allowed. Honestly, the interior is so pretty and the music so good that it totally hit my taste! It was pure healing :)

Maybe because the weather has been so nice, everyone was sitting outside enjoying the warm autumn sun, even though the inside is lovely too.

The Geurine Oasis annex is an indoor space where you can sit with your dog, and it also has big group tables, so it looks good for visiting with family or friends too.

What is the Gomori Reservoir lake-view outdoor seating like?

And now my favorite part! Step outside Geurine Oasis and there's a terrace as well as outdoor seating with a view of Gomori Reservoir. Of course we picked an outdoor seat haha

Sitting there in the cool breeze looking at the lake was pure healing. Among the cafés around Gomori in Pocheon, being able to enjoy such an open lake view is probably Geurine Oasis's biggest charm!!!

There were quite a lot of people, but the space is so big that we could spend time more leisurely than expected, with a pretty lake view and good music.

What is the Geurine Oasis dog run like?

The dog run at Geurine Oasis was really, really good quality! You can see the pretty scenery around it even from the run, so this time we chose a seat on the dog run side.

Our pup ran around happily in the run while we relaxed next to it with our drinks. I mean, this is happiness, isn't it?! T_T

What are the menu and prices at Geurine Oasis?

Drinks at Geurine Oasis start at ₩7,000 for an Americano. For a lake-view café in Pocheon with this much space and even a dog run, the prices were really reasonable!!!

Bakery items start with the signature salt bread at ₩4,800. As a proper bakery café in Pocheon, it had a really wide variety of drinks and baked goods! There are plenty of other breads and desserts too, so choosing is half the fun.

How were the milk tea, latte and anbutter salt bread?

At Geurine Oasis we ordered milk tea, a latte, and an anbutter (red bean and butter) salt bread!

A cold drink outdoors on a nice day... what more is there to say haha Chatting with my partner while looking at the lake and watching our pup play felt even more relaxed than usual.

The café's atmosphere and music were so good that I wanted to sit there with my drink for a long time.

And of course, the bakery! When you pick a bakery café in Pocheon, no matter how good the view is, it's a bit disappointing if the bread lets you down, right? Geurine Oasis has a wide variety of bakery items and the taste satisfied me, which is why I came back a second time.

Salt bread with red bean and butter, a bread lover can't walk past that haha It went well with the drinks, and it was even better eating it while looking at the lake. Most of all, what I liked best was being able to stay comfortably with our dog while enjoying tasty bread and drinks.
