How did I use it as a first cleanse for sunscreen and makeup?

Because I usually make sure to remove sunscreen and makeup thoroughly, I pay attention to cleansing power and how moisturized my skin feels afterward. I used this product as a first cleanse to remove sunscreen after going out or on days when I wore makeup.

I applied an appropriate amount to my dry face and massaged it in with my hands. It was a firm balm at first, but it melted and spread smoothly as it met my body heat. It did not feel like it was pulling at my skin much, so it was easy to massage over my whole face.

What did the black balm texture feel like?

When I first opened it, the black balm texture, as though it contained charcoal, stood out. Its color made me wonder whether it would cleanse too strongly or feel irritating, but it actually felt soft and moisturizing, so I could use it comfortably.

I also gently massaged areas such as the sides of my nose and around my chin, where sunscreen and buildup concerned me. It felt clean without having to rub hard.

How did it feel after emulsifying and washing?

After massaging, I added water a little at a time and emulsified it thoroughly. Once the balm had loosened smoothly, it rinsed off cleanly with lukewarm water.

What I liked most was the moisturized feeling after cleansing. My skin felt less excessively dry or tight, and the heavy or slippery residue was not strong either.

Who might it suit?

I think it could suit people whose skin easily feels dry after cleansing, or those who want to remove makeup and sunscreen gently rather than with a product that feels harsh. I found it good to use when I wanted to finish my end-of-day cleanse comfortably.
