300°C stone pot seafood nurungji-tang & tangsuyuk in Pyeongtaek

Hwanggeum Seafood Nurungji-tang is a newly opened seafood nurungji-tang (crispy rice soup) restaurant near Manse-ro in Bijeon-dong, Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi. Visiting with a friend, two orders of the seafood nurungji-tang poured into 300°C stone pots plus Jirisan black pork sweet-and-sour tangsuyuk turned out to be a satisfying, hearty lunch loaded with shrimp, baby octopus, mushrooms and bok choy. Recommended if you're after a warming, restorative Pyeongtaek lunch or a place to bring your parents.

Korean restaurant with outdoor seats for a date near Jeonju Hanok

Hanok Maeul Mulgalbi is a mulgalbi (spicy braised beef rib hot pot) restaurant in Pungnam-dong, Jeonju, on Dongmun-gil near Jeonju Hanok Village. The galbijeongol set for two (₩22,000 per person) came with thick slices of yukjeon (pan-fried marinated beef) and spicy mulgalbi hot pot in a spacious wood-toned interior with outdoor seating out front. A solid Korean restaurant to pair with a stroll through Jeonju Hanok Village afterward.
