A wide toddler pillow from All For Home
My little one really rolls all over the place while sleeping. Some days, their feet end up in my face! So whenever we use a pillow, I always go for a wide one. I found a great wide toddler pillow this time, so I thought I’d write a post about it~!
When I unboxed it, the set came simply packaged. There was the pillow insert, pillow cover, and a cute little pillow. The size definitely isn’t little, though—it seemed plenty big enough for adults to use, too.
What is the pillow insert made of?
The pillow insert is made with DOWN FILL, with Soft Air Mesh on the outside. Both are materials with such great benefits that I felt I could use it with confidence. The insert arrived folded in half, and once unfolded, it felt really wide. It also came vacuum-packed.
Down fill
This is one type of filling commonly used in padded clothing, made by processing goose or duck feathers. It has excellent warmth and holds plenty of air, forming an insulating layer that helps waterfowl maintain their body temperature in both hot and cold conditions.
It is lightweight too, so it packs down small and is convenient to carry when traveling. Down fill also springs back quickly to its original shape even after being pressed or compressed. Breathable down fill absorbs and releases moisture well, so it seems great for children like mine who sweat a lot.
Soft Air Mesh
This is a light, soft mesh material often used for infant bedding. It is gentle on the skin for a comfortable feel, and it resists deformation from washing and friction, so it can be used for a long time. It feels like an essential material for babies and toddlers.

Because it is tightly woven, it is durable and resists deformation from washing and friction, so it can be used for a long time. The close weave also means less debris sticking to it and less dust. The back is 60-count, but it is soft enough.
I put the pillow cover on, and I absolutely love how wonderfully fluffy it is. My little one is lying on it and hugging it like crazy.
