Baby winter foot warmers for stroller outings: All For Home

This winter was so warm from early on that it had everyone on edge, and I thought it would be the same for us too. Hahaha. It feels similar to 2018… Summer will be insanely hot, and winter will probably freeze us solid…! Hahaha It’s seriously sooooo cold. And a warning to brace ourselves for the cold. Hehehe. We need to get properly ready for winter!

Our home is super warm—turn the boiler on even a little and it feels like a jjimjilbang (Korean sauna)—but outside is freezing. We live near the sea, so the wind blows so fiercely it feels like it could tear your skin; the temperature difference between home and outdoors is perfect for catching a cold…. ㅠㅠ

Why my baby needed foot warmers for cold-weather outings

Our family doesn’t stop eating out or taking walks just because it’s cold. Baby foot warmers are honestly essential‼️ No matter how many pairs of socks you layer on, they aren’t as warm as a padded jacket, and I had no idea a product like this existed…🤔

In a town where the sea wind blows hard, wrapping baby up snugly is a must! Otherwise, the older folks on the street will scold you^^;;;

When baby is bundled up in a padded snowsuit, those little toes look relatively so skinny,, 🥲 Even with several layers of socks, they still look cold. Since my baby isn’t walking yet and doesn’t wear shoes, these foot warmers with their shoe-like(?) look are such a welcome item!

They are socks to keep babies warm from the newborn stage through around their first birthday. Compared with similar products elsewhere, the microfiber is heavier and the size is roomier. (They’re longer.) The sock style makes them easy to put on and take off, and the elastic finish keeps them from slipping down easily.

Sizing them on a 14-month-old baby

Our little baby tiger. My baby has just entered the 14-month stage, and his feet are about 125 mm. The product page says they are recommended for feet up to 130 mm, but when I put them on him, they were quite roomy. I cautiously predict he could wear them until age two.

For reference :) 14-month-old boy: 79 cm tall / 10.2 kg / 12.5 cm feet He still cannot walk and can only stand occasionally. So I don’t put these on him at home; I mainly use them when we go out. Unlike regular baby socks, there is no non-slip rubber on the sole, so it would be dangerous to leave them on indoors for babies who love walking. I probably won’t use them once he starts walking, but I think babies who ride in a stroller to and from daycare, or babies like mine who enjoy being carried in a baby carrier, can wear them for a long time.

Why do his legs look longer? Hahaha. It has that boots-make-you-look-taller(?) feeling. 😍

They are listed as recommended for babies with 130 mm feet, but there is room beyond that.

First outing in below-zero seaside winds

The day Busan suddenly dropped below zero and there wasn’t a single person on the street, we opened these for the first time as we headed out for dinner at night through the icy sea wind. It was so~ cold that my nose and throat hurt when I breathed, but baby did not catch a cold and his feet stayed nice and warm, which was reassuring..🥹👍🏻

Ever since buying these baby foot warmers, I’m not scared of daytime outings~🤗 Lots of older people live in my neighborhood, and they adore the baby every time we pass through the market street. They also have all sorts of worries about baby depending on the weather (I like it. I’m grateful for this kind of nosiness in this cold world lol. Now that I’m raising a child too, I want to talk to and worry about moms raising children younger than mine hahaha). But when we go out looking like this, the older folks don’t say a thing hahaha. It would have been perfect if he had worn a mask too…ㅜㅜ

Just looking at them makes his feet seem nice and warm~ And of course, they really are nice and warm too~ I honestly might buy another pair.

Why I think stroller babies can wear them for a long time

These baby foot warmers get worn every day like a uniform. They are the best winter socks. Even if babies start taking their first steps, they will not walk all day long; later, when the “carry me” phase comes, you will need to carry them or put them in a stroller. Since the size is roomy too, I think they will be useful longer than I expected. And they are not particularly expensive either.

Put them over a bear snowsuit and it would be cuteness overload >.< The more parenting gear I discover, the more I think there are so many clever people out there. It is fun discovering new things, and I keep thinking, wow, they made this really straightforwardly well. Parenting is fun too when you tackle it like some kind of mission quest(?) study?!?? The ribbed cuff holds well even over thick clothes, which is great. They must have made and refined it through a fair bit of trial and error. A well-made, good product. Recommended parenting gear👍🏻
