Which color did I choose for a rattan bag to carry in spring?
I chose the Meda Bag Rattan Bag as a bag to use from spring through summer. I wanted to carry a light color, so I picked ivory.

The bag I ordered from Meda Bag came with a dust bag, too. I thought it would be nice for storing it away during seasons when I am not using it.

When I took it out, it was an ivory with a slightly creamy tint. It was offered in two colors, ivory and brown. The light color I chose seemed great as an accent with casual outfits or paired with a spring dress.

How are the weave and interior storage?
When I felt it in person, the weave was sturdier than I expected. I also liked its texture, which felt different from a regular canvas tote. It felt about the size of a typical canvas tote I use, so it seemed more useful than a bag that only holds small belongings.

There was an inner pouch inside, and it also had a zipper. Being able to close the opening meant less worry about belongings spilling out or being exposed.

There was a base insert at the bottom. I also liked that the bag kept its shape rather than collapsing when I put things inside.

Was it easy to wear on the shoulder or carry as a secondary bag?
The straps were not thin; they felt sturdy. I liked that when I wore it on my shoulder, the weight felt less concentrated in one spot. I usually prefer sturdy straps even on canvas totes, so this suited my taste well.

When I took it out in still-cold weather, I worried it might look out of season. But once I carried it, it had a color like a basic canvas tote, so I could use it comfortably with winter outfits, too. The bag itself also felt light.

After trying it on, I found the size just right for me, since I like roomy bags. Ivory is a basic color, so it was not difficult to match with clothes.

It was also nice to use as a secondary bag alongside a mini backpack.

I liked not only wearing it on my shoulder, but also lightly hooking it over my arm. It made me want to bring it to the pool or beach, or on a trip to Southeast Asia.

Did it hold up well with grocery shopping inside?
After grocery shopping at the mart, I tried putting in milk, three blocks of tofu, and vegetables for stew. Even with those items inside, the bag held its shape firmly, and the weave felt nicely taut.
