What is Jejju Donghong Branch like?
Jejju Donghong Branch (제쭈 동홍점) is a bento shop at 58-8 Donghongjungang-ro in Seogwipo, Jeju, open from 10:30 to 23:00. I'd recommend it if you're looking for Seogwipo bento group orders or a Jeju bento.

If you're hunting for a great bento place in Seogwipo, I recommend Jejju Donghong Branch! Jejju is a chain in Jeju, a bento specialist that's good for eating in or taking out. I did pickup and was really happy with it.
Where do you park at Jejju Donghong Branch?
Park in the Donghong 2-dong public parking lot right in front, which is free for 30 minutes. For someone doing pickup like me, that was plenty of time. It was also close to our accommodation, which was nice.

Is the dining hall at Jejju Donghong Branch any good?
The hall is bigger than I expected, so it works for lunch or dinner too. I came at 11 for pickup and there were lots of delivery orders. The tables are set up for 2 or 4 people, the big windows make it feel open, and the kitchen is an open kitchen.
The hall is pleasant, with a high ceiling and a clean look, so it passes as a place to sit down and eat, and it's perfect for salmon and a drink in the evening too!

What's on the Jejju menu?
Here's the Jejju menu.

Jejju, a top bento spot in Seogwipo, is also a salmon specialist, with sushi, rice bowls (deopbap), bibimbap, bento, country-style cold radish noodles (yeolmu naengguksu), udon and fried shrimp. It's good as drinking food and as a meal, and if you join a Naver receipt review you can get a free salmon sushi or drink, so give it a go~
There are nicely put-together set menus, and every item can be packed to go! They're not heavy, just tasty, and it's heaven for salmon lovers.

I got mine to go, and it was packed neatly. The owner and all the staff were kind, which made it even, even, even better.
Does takeout still taste good an hour later?
At Jejju Donghong Branch I packed the Seogwipo Bento (₩19,800) and the Octopus Set (₩9,800). Because of the travel distance we ate outside an hour later, and it was still delicious.
- Seogwipo Bento ₩19,800
- Octopus Set ₩9,800

Aaah~ my mouth waters just looking at it~ I packed it and ate outside, and doesn't it look so tempting? It was really that good too. Whether you eat in the hall or outdoors, the looks and the taste both passed, and even though we ate an hour later because of the travel distance, it was still delicious.

What's in the Seogwipo Bento and how does it taste?
I ordered Jejju's Seogwipo Bento with raw salmon, grilled salmon, raw shrimp and grilled shrimp.

There were many kinds of bento, and the price goes up with more pieces of sushi 😆 I ordered raw salmon + grilled salmon + raw shrimp + grilled shrimp, with an octopus rice bowl set as the bento, and I was satisfied. Not even a hint of fishiness, a decent amount of rice, and even the udon broth made it a perfect combination.

Octopus Set and cold radish noodles
Jejju's Octopus Set (₩9,800) is an octopus rice bowl (jjukkumi deopbap) with your choice of udon or cold noodles.

The Octopus Set comes with an octopus rice bowl and a choice of udon or cold noodles. I picked the cold young radish noodles, and they were refreshing and even better than I expected. The octopus was plump, and its mild spiciness went perfectly with the cool radish noodles, and it's good value too.
I took this photo an hour after getting the bento, so the radish noodles had gotten soggy, so keep that in mind 😀 There were also a sashimi rice bowl, salmon rice bowl, salmon cream mayo and pork bulgogi bowl, and I wanted to try them all. Highly recommended if you're looking for a premium group bento in Jeju!

Who should go to Jejju Donghong Branch?
I ate a tasty bento at Jejju, a good-quality Seogwipo favorite, and got a big energy boost! I recommend Jejju Donghong Branch to anyone who likes salmon~ It's good as drinking food, and good eaten in the hall or packed to go, so I highly recommend this sushi spot ❤️ If you're ordering Seogwipo bento for a group, go to Jejju!!!
