How did it feel on combination and sensitive skin?
I used it to wash my face on a hot day when I had applied sunscreen heavily. Cleansers tend to leave my cheeks feeling tight while my forehead gets oily, but on the first night I used it, I did not notice redness or stinging.
Even when I worked up plenty of foam and used it with a massage-like motion, it did not feel irritating. Skin reactions can vary, though.
How did my skin feel after washing?
After patting off the water, my face felt bouncy and moisturized. I had been concerned about a stuffy or tight feeling after washing in summer, but I felt less of that.
The product mentions a combination of hyaluronic acid and Aqua Ceramide, but the moisturizing feel is based on my own experience.
Was one wash enough on days I wore sunscreen?
I tried it one evening after wearing sunscreen and cushion foundation. I felt clean without a separate cleansing oil, and my skin texture felt smooth after washing.
It was a grayish formula containing fine charcoal powder, and my skin seemed less oily after evening use. It is difficult to say that any changes in pores or blemishes came from this product alone.
What are the texture and foam like?
It had a slightly gray cast when squeezed from the tube. When I rubbed it with wet hands, it made creamy, rich foam that was nice for gently washing with a massage-like motion.
I did not notice a slippery residue after washing, so the finish felt clean too.
How did I use the duo set?
With my sensitive, combination-to-oily skin, I mainly used it for my end-of-day cleanse. My husband used it too and said his skin felt less tight after washing. I would use it again when I want a soft, foamy cleanse without tightness.
