Finding Taqueros near Magok Station

Get off at Exit 3 of Magok Station and Magok GMG Tower is right nearby! I got off at Exit 2, stopped by Traders, then walked over. There is ground-level parking in the building too, with 2 hours of free parking provided, so keep that in mind!

Take the elevator up to the second floor and Taqueros is right in front of you!

Isn't the atmosphere so nice? It has that Mexican local feel mixed with a family-restaurant vibe—such a proper taco-place atmosphere.

Ordering the Signature Couple Set for weekday lunch

I visited at weekday lunchtime, and there was such a varied mix of guests: families with children, office-worker groups, couples, and more. We ordered by QR code and chose the Taqueros Signature Couple Set.

The set comes with either fajitas or pork ribs (+₩6,000), plus two tacos. We chose the fajitas and added an orange ade (₩3,500) too!

The nacho chips arrived as soon as we ordered. The thin nachos were crisp, and the cheese sauce was wonderfully thick and tasty.

And a glass of orange ade, perfect to have alongside everything!

We chatted over the nachos for a moment, and then a full, abundant spread was laid out!

Can't you feel how abundant it is just looking at it? There were no fewer than five sauces, including tomato salsa, guacamole, and sour cream! Plus jalapeños, perfect for having alongside.

There were plenty of nicely thick tortillas ready as well.

Such a mouthwatering sight. There was so much that I wondered whether the two of us could finish it all!

And on top of that, two kinds of tacos!

The fish taco I was curious about, plus chicken

I have had chicken tacos plenty of times, but a fish taco! That was the one I was most curious about!

I usually love shrimp, but the star of this meal was the chicken. I really love chicken skewers, and it felt like delicious chicken skewers had been tucked right in.

Both the shrimp and chicken were wonderfully plump, so the texture was just so good!

Once we got into both meats, it really was quite a lot of food.

Then, as we ate, we discovered rice and stir-fried vegetables hidden beneath the meat. This was a truly satisfying meal.

I put on the thoughtfully provided disposable gloves and started piling things on just the way I like them.

We asked for a knife, cut the tacos in half, and shared them so we could try both. The chicken taco was delicious in that familiar way, while the fish taco was more my style than I expected. I might have passed it by if ordering à la carte, so I felt lucky it came with the set.

There were extra sauces too, so it would be nice to drizzle them on to your taste. The five sauces were plenty for me, though! It was so good that we left almost nothing, but the portion was really, really huge. Even big eaters would be satisfied with this amount!

With its lovely atmosphere and easy access from the station, I think it would be great for a date too. It is a good stop after an outing at Seoul Botanic Park or before grocery shopping at Traders, and I would recommend it for dates or wedding-invitation gatherings as well.
