I wear workout clothes often, so I looked at both the design and the comfort. I chose the Everlast Men’s Training Set while looking for something I could wear comfortably at home and also use for quick outings.
What was the melange gray color like in person?
The color I chose was melange gray. It made a neat impression when I opened it, and the actual color felt more natural than it did on screen. I thought it would be easy to pair with other clothes, too.
Blue, red, and black were also available when I was choosing. I liked the calm feel of the melange gray.
How were the logo, hood, and pockets to use?
The Everlast logo was included without being too prominent, so it did not feel like too much. The overall balance also felt right when I wore the top and bottom as a set.
The hood gave it a casual feel, and it was convenient when I was heading out briefly without fixing my hair. I thought it would be useful on chilly days, too. The zipper moved smoothly up and down, so it was not uncomfortable to use.
There were two pockets each on the top and bottom. The pockets were roomy enough for a phone or wallet, and when those were the only things I needed, I did not have to carry a separate bag.
Was the elastic waistband comfortable on a fuller build?
The thing I liked most when I actually wore it was the comfort. I have a fuller build, so I was worried the waist might feel uncomfortable, but it did not feel that way when I put it on.
The elastic waistband held things in place without feeling restrictive, so it stayed comfortable even after wearing it for a long time. It did not feel uncomfortable while moving either, so I thought it would be good for exercising as well. It suited relaxing at home or heading out lightly.
Do the top and bottom work well separately, too?
Wearing it as a set made putting together an outfit simple, and it also looked natural when I paired the top or bottom separately with other clothes. Since there were color options, I thought it could also be nice for couples to coordinate.
For me, the non-restrictive elastic waistband and low-key design were a good fit. It felt like the kind of set I would reach for often because I could wear it both at home and on light outings.
