Gyeongju ssambap restaurant: late lunch after a water park, Neulbom
Neulbom (늘봄) is a Korean set-meal and snail ssambap (rice with leaf wraps) restaurant at 107 Bobul-ro in Bomun, Gyeongju. On the first day of summer break, after swimming at California Beach and before heading to Gyeongju World, the family stopped at Neulbom around 2:30pm, when there is no break time. They ate tteokgalbi (grilled short rib patties) for the child and jeyuk-bokkeum (spicy stir-fried pork) for the couple, with greens from the ssam self-bar and plenty of side dishes. With baby chairs, private rooms and a large car park, Neulbom is an easy fit for a family meal on a Bomun trip.
