Munmak eatery in Wonju: jjukkumi-saeu for three with muksabal
Singi Arrowroot Naengmyeon & Jjukkumi (신기칡냉면&쭈꾸미) is a jjukkumi (spicy baby octopus) and naengmyeon (cold noodle) restaurant about a minute from Munmak IC in Wonju, Gangwon. Three adults and a 37-month-old arrived right at the 11am opening after an appointment at Wonju Severance, ordering three servings of jjukkumi-saeu (baby octopus with shrimp) in medium spice and one codari-hoemul bibim naengmyeon, and the jjukkumi order came with a bowl of muksabal (acorn jelly soup). Alternating the spicy octopus mixed with self-serve bean sprouts and the icy cold noodles was the most memorable part of the meal at Singi Arrowroot Naengmyeon & Jjukkumi.
