Ichiba Ramen is an authentic Japanese ramen restaurant on Jungang-ro in Sokcho, right next door to MuseumX. The special tonkotsu ramen is built on a broth simmered for 30 hours and goes down well with draft beer, while the chashudon side arrives piled with enough pork to share — spooned over rice, it was a hit with the writer's child. Ichiba Ramen works both as dinner after a day of activities with kids and as a hangover lunch the next day.
