Sokcho Topgol Makguksu Main Branch is an indoor pet-friendly makguksu (buckwheat noodle) restaurant near Sokcho Beach in Gangwon. The writer wheeled her dog in a stroller and ordered deulmemak (perilla oil makguksu) at 13,000 won, pollack sashimi makguksu at 13,000 won and solo suyuk (boiled pork) at 17,000 won with 4,000 won of extra pollack sashimi, all served with noodles made in-house from Bongpyeong buckwheat flour mixed with squid ink and reishi mushroom, so the colour and chew differ from ordinary makguksu.
