Burger restaurant in Yeoksam: custom egg and grilled onion Bass Burger

Today I'm bringing you Bass Burger Yeoksam (바스버거 역삼점), a name you've probably heard at least once if you hunt for good food in Yeoksam haha. I'm usually a handmade burger person, and it suddenly popped into my head after a while, so I went back! It's famous as a lunch spot among office workers around Yeoksam Station, so it's always busy at lunchtime. Just a heads-up!

Where is Bass Burger Yeoksam and what are its opening hours?

Bass Burger Yeoksam is a 1-minute walk or less from Exits 2 and 3 of Yeoksam Station, in the basement (B1) of Seongbo Building at 10 Teheran-ro 26-gil, Gangnam-gu. It's open daily 11:00-21:15 (until 20:45 on Saturdays and Sundays), and last order on Saturdays and Sundays is 20:00.

Is the basement Bass Burger Yeoksam good for eating alone?

Bass Burger Yeoksam is on the B1 level, but it didn't feel stuffy at all. There are plenty of tables, so it's good for eating alone and also for a meal with friends!

And sure enough, once lunchtime hit, office workers from around the area kept streaming in haha

Unlimited handmade potato chips at Bass Burger

One of my personal favorite things about Bass Burger is the unlimited handmade potato chips!! When you order, you can help yourself to as many chips as you like. They're much crunchier and nuttier than store-bought chips, so I kept reaching for them before the burger even arrived (T_T)

Having them with ketchup and mayo together is dangerous,, I seriously couldn't stop,,, so I stuck to just ketchup,,

Best Bass Burger topping combo: the 9,300-won custom burger

I actually first found out about Bass Burger through a TV show! After trying it once, I kept thinking about that signature moist bun and the juicy patty (T_T) It's a Gangnam Station-area handmade burger place with lots of burger types, but my favorite is the basic Bass Burger! Here's my recommended combo!

• Bass Burger ₩7,800
• Swap to grilled onion
• Add a fried egg
• Add tomato slices
• Extras +₩1,500 = ₩9,300 total

Save this combo and definitely try it! We ordered two Bass Burgers (one with the grilled onion swap), chili mozzarella cheese, and a beer and a cider! (The chili mozzarella cheese is ₩3,700, and I recommend one per person...)

How the Bass Burger with fried egg, tomato and grilled onion tastes

The burgers came out faster than I expected! My custom Bass Burger was, I swear (T_T), an emotional experience from the first bite!

The juicy patty,, the nutty fried egg.. and then fresh tomato on top, the balance was really good!!

The grilled onion especially adds a subtle sweetness, so the whole thing tastes so much richer!!!! You could tell each ingredient was fresh too, so I was super satisfied haha

My friend just swapped to grilled onion on the basic Bass Burger, and that was tasty too.

The hidden star: Bass Burger's chili mozzarella cheese

Personally, the hidden star of the day was the chili mozzarella cheese (₩3,700)!!!!!!!! Can you see the cheese stretching? It's spicy but nutty and really, really good.. Next time I'll definitely order one per person.

It's just the kind of taste that calls for a beer,, and with the chips it all goes together so well,, even as I write this I want it again..

Is Bass Burger Yeoksam a good office lunch near Yeoksam Station?
