Gangneung sashimi restaurant hotel takeout: Samsami-ne

Samsami-ne Gyeongpodae Main Branch is a sashimi restaurant in Gangneung, Gangwon, where you can pick up sashimi and mulhoe. We took its ₩70,000 value assorted sashimi back to the Saint John’s Hotel for a relaxed dinner with our dog, Haengun, and loved the red sea bream yubiki, individual settings, and mulhoe. A wonderful choice for an easy hotel-room sashimi feast.

Gangneung café with a dog-friendly terrace and homemade patbingsu

Coffee Dripper is a café in Chodang-dong, Gangneung, Gangwon, with a large private parking lot and a dog-friendly outdoor terrace. I enjoyed homemade patbingsu with house-boiled red beans and mill-fresh misutgaru, plus an iced Americano, with Haengun. Coffee Dripper was a delightful start to our trip.
