Bueokgan Chinese Marine City Branch is a Chinese restaurant on Marine City 3-ro in Haeundae, Busan, with an ocean view over Dongbaekseom. In a 100-pyeong dining room set with George Nelson bubble lamps and European furniture, the writer ordered suran ogyeop ganjajang (black bean noodles with poached egg and pork belly), chadol usamgyeop jjamppong (spicy noodle soup with beef brisket), and black vinegar deungsim tangsuyuk (sweet and sour pork loin); all three were mild rather than harsh and generous with meat. Between the view, the room and the food, Bueokgan is a place worth returning to.
