Maetan-dong, Suwon clam noodle soup with free refills: Gogo Kalguksu
Gogo Kalguksu is a Korean noodle restaurant in Maetan-dong, Suwon, near the Samsung Electro-Mechanics campus, serving dongjuk kalguksu (hand-cut noodle soup with Gochang clams). A bowl costs 9,000 won at lunch and comes with free noodle refills and free rice, while the geotjeori (fresh cabbage kimchi) is made daily with Korean-grown cabbage. Even a partner who usually avoids kalguksu finished the bowl, thanks to the clean, cool anchovy broth.
