Uijeongbu donkatsu restaurant with fruity sauce: Yangchonri Millak
Yangchonri Donkaseu Millak Branch is an old-school Western-style donkatsu (pork cutlet) restaurant in Millak-dong, Uijeongbu, on the 2nd floor of Jeil Pungkyungchae Millak Town, directly above the Starbucks. The 2-person Set No. 6 — Yangchonri pork cutlet, flame-grilled baby octopus rice bowl and grandma's udon — costs ₩31,800, and the cutlet sauce was poured over the top in the retro style, with a sweet apple- or pineapple-like fruit scent as the standout. Alternating between the crisp cutlet and the smoky octopus kept the lunch from ever feeling too rich.
