Jung-gu Chinese izakaya with Taiwanese apple cider: Huhugwan
Huhugwan is a Chinese izakaya on the second floor of a building two minutes' walk from Exit 10 of City Hall Station in Jung-gu, Seoul, opened this summer. On a Saturday evening reservation, the order was yurinchi (crispy fried chicken) at 23,000 won and an eggplant rice bowl at 13,000 won, along with squid-ink battered yurinchi, Taiwanese apple cider and fried dumplings from a Naver coupon. The partitioned tables at Huhugwan filled up completely, so booking ahead is the safer plan.
