Gatjidong Noeun Branch is a pork cutlet and rice bowl restaurant in Jijok-dong, Yuseong-gu, Daejeon, a 5-minute walk from Exit 2 of Noeun Station. Visiting on a weekday lunch with a coworker, the writer tried the signature half-and-half pork cutlet and the daily-prepared salmon rice bowl, and remembered most the creamy poured-on sauce plus the free broth, cream soup and white rice. With kids' plates and furikake rice also available, it's a place worth returning to for a family meal.
