Suji shabu-kalguksu with clear broth and neungi mushroom: Dongchundang
Dongchundang Shabu Shabu Kalguksu Sinbong Oesik Town Branch is a shabu-shabu and kalguksu (knife-cut noodle soup) restaurant on Sinbong 1-ro in Suji-gu, Yongin, Gyeonggi. On a family visit the writer picked the clear broth, added 160g of beef for 13,000 won and a sanhyang neungi mushroom topping for 5,000 won, then ate through shabu-shabu, kalguksu noodles and a final porridge. The broth at Dongchundang is mild rather than spicy, so adults and children could share the same pot.
