Sunday lunch at a Gwacheon bibimbap restaurant: Bibisam yukhoe set
Bibisam Gwacheon Main Branch is a torim bibimbap (broth-blanched rice bowl) restaurant a 3-minute walk from Exit 11 of Gwacheon Government Complex Station in Gyeonggi. On a Sunday lunch visit, the Hwangdeung-style torim Hanwoo yukhoe bibimbap set (with Hanwoo tteokgalbi) and the stone-pot roe rice set (with Handon pork tteokgalbi) came to 31,000 won for two including drinks, with pickup, bussing and miso soup all self-serve. The torim rice is already seasoned, so at Bibisam the namul and raw beef keep their own flavor even without gochujang.
