Bucheon Chinese restaurant, level 1 hell jjamppong-bap: Jjambbong
Jjambbong Jijon Bucheon Jung-dong Branch is a Chinese restaurant on Jungdong-ro in Sinjung-dong, Bucheon (near Bucheon City Hall Station), serving its signature jijon jjamppong plus fusion versions with soft tofu, rice noodles and sujebi (hand-torn dough flakes) until 2:30am. On a lunch visit after swimming, the meal was soft tofu jjamppong noodles at hell level 1 for 14,000 won, a 5th-anniversary jijon jjajang for 7,000 won, a small sticky rice tangsuyuk (sweet and sour pork) for 19,000 won and jjamppong fried dumplings, with unlimited self-bar rice stirred into the broth for jjamppong-bap. Jjambbong Jijon is worth arriving hungry for, and the underground lot gives 2 hours of free parking.
