7am breakfast gomtang in Maehyang-ri, Hwaseong: Haga Naju Gomtang

Haga Naju Gomtang Hwaseong Woojeong branch is a Korean beef gomtang (bone-broth soup) restaurant at the entrance to Maehyang Rotary in Woojeong-eup, Hwaseong, Gyeonggi, open daily from 7am. On the way back from Gungpyeong Port, the writer stopped in with her parents and her child and ordered two bowls of Haga hanwoo gomtang at 9,500 won each and one spicy ugeoji-tang (napa cabbage stew) at 10,000 won, finishing every bowl. Single-portion orders make solo dining easy, and the wide private parking lot in front of Haga Naju Gomtang makes it a comfortable stop after a day trip.
