Suwon gyukatsu restaurant packed for weekday lunch: Gyuen-dang
Gyuen-dang Avenue France Gwanggyo Branch is a Japanese gyukatsu (beef cutlet) restaurant a 4-minute walk from Exit 3 of Gwanggyo Central Station in Suwon, Gyeonggi. On a weekday lunch visit that filled every table, the sirloin gyukatsu and a hambagu (Japanese hamburger steak) omurice arrived to be grilled with butter on a personal tabletop brazier, and staff swapped out the scorched grill plate partway through. With Japanese-style interiors and bar seats, Gyuen-dang suits both solo diners and a relaxed lunch out.
