Ulsan lunch restaurant where kalguksu comes with rice: Boksan Haejang
Boksan Haejang is a Korean hangover-soup restaurant in Songjeong-dong, Buk-gu, Ulsan, near Goheon Middle School, open for lunch only. Two of us ordered Boksan haejangguk (hangover soup) for 11,000 won and haejang kalguksu (hangover noodle soup) for 13,000 won; the soup came packed with glass noodles and the kalguksu arrived with a bowl of rice, so we alternated between noodles and rice. For a filling midday meal before an afternoon of errands in Ulsan, Boksan Haejang does the job.
