A weekday dinner cost ₩29,900 per adult, and the blogger ordered half jjamppong broth (spicy Korean-Chinese seafood style) and half clear broth: the blogger preferred the spicy jjamppong broth, while their companion liked the clean clear broth better. Izawa Ulsan The Terrace Garden branch is a gyukatsu (breaded beef cutlet) restaurant on the 2nd floor of The Terrace Garden in Samsan-dong, Nam-gu, Ulsan, and Nam-gu has designated it a solo dining restaurant. A longtime regular walked over for dinner, ordered the signature gyukatsu (₩17,000), grilled it medium on a personal burner and ate it with soy sauce, then the special sauce, then wasabi. Even after a long break, the taste and atmosphere at Izawa Ulsan The Terrace Garden branch were just as good as before.

Jongga Dwaejigukbap is a neighborhood pork gukbap (pork and rice soup) restaurant in an alley near Homeplus in Jung-gu, Ulsan. Every gukbap on the menu costs ₩10,000, so the writer ordered modeum gukbap (mixed soup with meat, sundae and offal) and dwaeji gukbap (pork soup) together to compare them, with a taste-size plate of suyuk (boiled pork) on the side. The pork bone broth carried no gamy smell and the bill stayed light, making Jongga Dwaejigukbap a local regular spot worth returning to through fall and winter.
