Yuil Jangeo is a freshwater eel grill restaurant in Songjeong-ri, Gwangsan-gu, Gwangju. Two large eels were picked from the display counter, pre-grilled, then finished on the tabletop grill alongside nurungji (scorched rice), bibim naengmyeon (spicy cold noodles), and a review-event eel tteokgalbi. The salt-and-oil dip won out for its clean flavor, and the spacious parking lot and private rooms make it a solid pick for family or group meals.
