La Cuesta Gwangju is a large bakery café at 278 Gyeongchung-daero in Gonjiam-eup, Gwangju, Gyeonggi, open daily 10:00–22:00. After a day at the Icheon ceramics village, the writer picked up the signature mejubread (named after meju, a fermented soybean block), squid-ink triple cheese bread and salt bread with a La Cuesta latte and a strawberry smoothie, while the child spent the visit at the café's drawing corner. With roomy parking and Hwadam Botanic Garden nearby, La Cuesta slots easily into an autumn foliage day out with kids.
