Date-night restaurant by Yangjaecheon: shrimp rosé pasta at Pasta Gram

After a long time, I met my partner after work for a Western-style dinner 💗 I'd heard there was a place near Yangjaecheon with great value and great flavor, so we headed to Pasta Gram Yangjae Main Branch (빠스타그램 양재본점)✨ You can have a tasty dinner and then stroll along Yangjaecheon afterwards, so it's perfect as a date course, haha. The weather has gotten cool lately, so it's nice for a light walk 🍂 Here's my yum-yum review of the big meal we had together 🫶🏻🫶🏻

Pasta Gram Yangjae hours, parking and reservations

Pasta Gram Yangjae is open 11:30–23:30 on weekdays (break time 14:30–16:00) and 12:00–21:00 on Saturdays, and closed on Sundays. For parking, use the building parking lot on the left of the restaurant, and you can reserve through Naver Reservation.

What is the atmosphere like at Pasta Gram Yangjae?

The restaurant isn't huge, but it even has parking, which was really convenient 🚗 There's terrace seating too, but it was a bit chilly that day, so we sat indoors.

Inside, the lighting is softly dim ✨ It doesn't feel too formal; it's more like a cozy neighborhood spot you'd want to drop into whenever you feel like it! There were roughly 10 tables, and within 30 minutes of our arrival it was completely full! There's a reason the reviews are good 👀 With guests streaming in, it seemed to be a beloved local favorite in Yangjae-dong 💕

Pasta Gram Yangjae menu and value for money

The menu has all sorts of Western dishes, from pasta to pizza to steak!!🤤 Prices are relatively gentle, so ordering four dishes for two wasn't a burden.

Before visiting, I'd wanted to try the recommended pork ribs, but sadly they were sold out. Aww 🥹 Since we were here anyway, we decided to sample a variety and started ordering like crazy~~ And here's the big point 🚨🚨 prices are relatively low, so ordering lots of dishes is totally fine, haha 🙌🏻

I thought the food would come out one dish at a time 👀 but even though we ordered several dishes, everything arrived all at once! No waiting, a table full of food, and we could dig right in. For us hungry folks, that was a really thoughtful touch 💗

Garlic bread: savory, not sweet

The garlic bread at Pasta Gram Yangjae isn't overpowering but nicely mild, so it's great for dipping in pasta sauce. Blood sugar spike, start! Garlic bread first, nom! When you think garlic bread you tend to picture sweet and salty, but this one leans mild and savory, heh. It felt like they brushed on the sauce themselves and baked it 👩🏻‍🍳 Dip it in the pasta sauce and it's twice as good, haha. A great side to eat along with everything 😋

Shrimp rosé pasta: the best dish of the night

The dish I enjoyed most among everything we ordered at Pasta Gram Yangjae was the shrimp rosé pasta 💞 The texture is thick and rich, so the sauce clings well to the noodles~~ It has that soft rosé smoothness plus deep flavor, so anyone could enjoy it without hesitation!! The shrimp are seriously plump, and my belly got plump too, yo 🦐 It's a dish I'd definitely order again on a return visit, haha.

Quattro cheese & honey pizza: cheese pizza dipped in honey

I picked the quattro cheese & honey pizza because I wanted a gorgonzola-style pizza, and it hit exactly the flavor I was hoping for >_< You get that savory, funky depth that cheddar has, so it really tastes like proper cheese pizza~~ If you love cheese, this is a flavor you'll welcome 🧀 (feat. you can dip it in sweet honey too)

Pork neck steak: tender even after it cools

The last dish is the pork neck steak! The price was so reasonable that I ordered without big expectations, but when I tried it, the meat was shockingly tender 👀 It doesn't get tough even after it cools down. Amazing... 🐷

Great value, and it's not just meat! 🥩 There's rice, veggies and egg to go with it, plus french fries too!! 🍟 If a place near my office had this, I'd want it for lunch, honestly 🍴

Four dishes for two: were the portions enough?

Objectively, the amount was quite large when the two of us ate garlic bread, shrimp rosé pasta, cheese pizza and pork neck steak at Pasta Gram Yangjae. Spread out like this, it's really generous, right? 😆 We were very hungry and the food was tasty, so our chopsticks just wouldn't stop~~🪇 Best of all, even though we ordered a variety, every single dish was satisfying 👍🏻👍🏻
