Maetan-dong Korean BBQ with a weekday wait at 6pm: Sogogi Twist
Sogogi Twist Yeongtong District Office Branch is a newly opened beef restaurant in the shopping complex by Yeongtong District Office in Maetan-dong, Suwon. The 1kg beef platter (88,000 won) pairs kkotsaeu-sal (chuck flap), salchi-sal (chuck flap tail) and jebichuri (rectus abdominis), grilled one cut at a time and finished with doenjang sulbap (soybean paste rice). Even at 6pm on a weekday the reserved tables were full and a line had formed by the time we left, so booking ahead for dinner is the safe move.
